How to Get to DEM's Foundry Offices

From the South on Rt95 (Blue route on above map.)
- Follow Interstate 95 North toward Providence.
- Take Exit 22C - Providence Place.
- Follow to end of ramp and take a right onto Kinsley Ave./Providence Place.
- Take left in front of mall garage.
- Take immediate left onto Promenade Street, crossing over river and under Rte. 95.
- Pass first building (DEM) on right and enter the parking lot just beyond Holden St.
- There is free parking for visitors.
From the North on Rt95 (Red route on map.)
- Follow Route 146 South and/or Interstate 95 South toward Providence.
- Take Exit 22C off of 95 South - Providence Place.
- At end of ramp go right onto Kinsley Ave./Providence Place.
- Take left in front of mall garage.
- Take immediate left onto Promenade Street, crossing over river and under Rte. 95.
- Pass first building (DEM) on right and enter the parking lot just beyond Holden St.
- There is free parking for visitors.
From the West on Rt6 (Green route on above map.))
- Follow Route 6 toward Providence.
- Take the Dean Street/Atwells Avenue Exit.
- Turn left at the traffic light at the top of the ramp onto Dean Street.
- Go to bottom of the hill and turn right onto Kinsley Avenue/Providence Place.
- Go to end, and make a U-shaped turn onto Promenade Street, crossing over river and under Rte. 95
- Pass first building (DEM) on right and enter the parking lot just beyond Holden St.
- There is free parking for visitors.
Free parking is available in of the Foundry buildings complex, just west of the DEM building.
You will be driving west on Promenade St and the first building you pass after going under I-95 is the DEM building ( with a 235 label on the front of the building at the entrance area). Just past the building is the intersection of Promenade St. and Holden Street. Continue beyond Holden St. for approximately 100 feet and turn right into the large parking area. The first few rows have parking spaces marked as "Visitor" parking, where you will park.
You can enter the DEM building on the Promenade St. The building is numbered 235. Board meetings meet in room 380C1, which is on the third floor of the DEM office building at 235 Promenade St. Enter the building at the entrance on Promenade St. and come up the short set of stairs and the elevator will then be on the left on the first floor. Take the elevator to the third floor (press 3 in the elevator). Exit the elevator, cross the hall, enter the Office of Waste Management. The 380C1 conference room will be immediately on your right. There are rest rooms just down the hall.
